About Us

We carry out every aspect of each project in compliance with the Fair Trade NSW Electricity (Consumer Safety) Act 2004 and Australia’s Wiring Rules. We pass along respective warranties and insurance on all products required to fit out commercial or industrial enterprises and facilities that need LED lighting upgrades.

Director Rikke Smith moved out to Australia in 2007 after preparing for a lifelong electrical service career with his 1998 apprenticeship in his home country, England. Study and experience let him gain knowledge across all sectors of the domestic, commercial and industrial sectors. Inspired by a long-held vision to become Sydney’s leading electrical contractor, he fell in love with the country and made it his adopted home. With a mission to build a long-term relationship with clients based on excellent customer service, innovation and technology, he started Skill Electrical in 2015.

Following his inspired leadership, we take pride in our no-nonsense approach with a commitment to honesty, hard work and alertness that keeps us “on the ball” for our clients. Our membership in the Interior Fitout Association (IFA) and the National Electrical Communications Association (NECA) supports our core values of ethical conduct, high standards of workmanship, training and safety.
